I took this at Quincy Market. It is a historic building near Faneuil Hall in downtown Boston, Massachusetts. It was built in 1824 and named after Mayor Josiah Quincy. He built it without any tax or debt! Wouldn't that be great if our current politicians would take a lesson!!

Faneul Hall has been a marketplace and a meeting hall since 1742. It was the site of several speeches by Samuel Adams, James Otis, and others encouraging independence from Great Britain.

I wish we had a street named Milk Street.
DSCN3552
The first public school in America was established by Puritan settlers in 1635 in the home of Schoolmaster Philemon Pormont and was later moved to School Street. Boys from various socio-economic backgrounds attended Boston Latin School until 1972 when girls were also accepted. Starbucks has moved in. I guess it pays for the upkeep.

This husband and wife team did an amazing street show. So much, that we actually paid them good money when they collected. Here she found out Mike was from Indianapolis and called him Mr Indianapolis thru out the show. They were hilarious and entertaining. Her body could move in very strange ways.

Here she took a little boy from the audience and told him she was going to throw sharp swords at him. I'm sure they weren't really sharp and she didn't even throw them, but it was funny. : - )

We ate here last time we were in Boston. It was a lot of fun being right on the water.

Of course we had to take Arden by Paul Revere's house.
DSCN3675
This house is right next door and is a lot cooler than Revere's. As we were standing here I started talking to two trash men. They told me they didn't even know where his house was and never had been there, even though they had lived in Boston their entire life.  If they voted are they what you would call uninformed voters? Maybe they don't vote.

Just like in Newport the cars take away from the "moment' and mess up your pictures!!!!!

This must be his actual grave.

Look who is buried here!! Why didn't they say Franklin's wife's name?  Surely, she had one.
