Arden and my niece Payton made it!
Arden did it earning Academic Honors and National Honor Society!! She is a smart one. Arden played tennis for 3 years and was also a Class officer.
My nieces and nephew are in the band.
The lady sitting behind us was helping Mike pose the kids for this picture. She literally grabbed one of the kids who was leaning back to far and pushed him forward to his face would be in the picture.
Apparently, she couldn't take it any more and decided to look straight at the camera and be in the picture too. Actually, she was very sweet.

This year Payton earned her Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license. She is going to work as an EMT to pay for her college education.
Green Eggs and Ham!
I was too busy a talkin' to take many pictures once people arrived, but I had to get one of my Uncle Norman. He is the last one left out of 10 kids on my Dad's side. When the siblings are alive I think they tend to hang together, but after most have passed is when it seems like I've really gotten to know my Aunts and Uncles.
Also, I wanted a picture of this girl! I've known her almost my entire life. I went to her parents' wedding when I was 5 y.o.
Last but, CERTAINLY not least, my Mom's friend (and mine), Lula and her husband Dick. I've known Lula since I was 2 y.o. My sister and I like to tell Lula stories -- like how we were young enough to sit on her lap, but old enough to be "into" her makeup. We still can remember what color lipstick she wore and what her favorite color was!
Lula likes to tell me how one morning she got up and looked out the window, and there I was on my tricycle doing laps on her patio -- stark naked. I was never that shy about certain things. She thinks the story is hilarious-I think it is normal for the way I was.
Oh yeah! This is supposed to be about Arden and Payton.
Payton played golf in high school, and Arden played tennis. But I guess you probably already figured that out.
Two my older sister's girls, Erin and Jenna-wearing black because they played in the band for the graduation ceremony. They went home and changed into bright colors before they started the open house tours. : - )
Arden's older sister Lael. Lael graduated high school and just finished her first year at Marian University. She is pursuing a nursing degree. Lael is very take charge but also has a kind heart. I think that combination will make for a good nurse.

Payton was laughing telling us that Gabrielle created a collection of pictures of herself on Payton's cell phone. She entitled it "Cute Gabrielle Pics." Gabrielle is the one in between Payton and her Mom.
I think that one better go in the collection.
