Mike took the girls to D.C. Actually, I had a plane ticket too, but decided at the last minute not to go. I really try and not to get too political on my blog (really, I do try!), but I am political and this is a post on D.C. so... well. (Warning: if you're a liberal, or a Ron Paul fan, you might want to stick to looking at pictures of Mike and the girls running around D.C. and ignore the other stuff)..

It still boggles my mind that Jeremiah Wright wasn't all by himself enough to convince Americans Obama has no business in the White House. Oh yeah...maybe that's because the media (and even our wimpy candidate from last time) wouldn't talk about it. So tell me, Senator McCain, do you still think we don't need to fear Obama as president? Let's hope the Republican candidate this time around is more concerned with winning than being liked by the media.

Obama says the people of America have lost their ambition, imagination and will... Hard to disagree with him on that, after all, they elected him.
They went and watched an oral argument at the Supreme Court. I love Justice Scalia, so I hate it that I missed that!
Mike said DC's Chinatown was OK, but not as good as Boston's. And nothing compares to San Francisco's (except, of course, China itself!).

Nothing like a little shopping after museum hopping. Nice shoes Lael.
But I like these better.
