Steve's sermon today went right along with our weekend. My grandson, Andrew, is being raised Catholic and was "sprinkled" this weekend. I know, I know, I don't understand the Catholic religion. I am impressed on the Catholic's stance on morals in this messed up society we are now living in. It is kind of like us protestants are burying our heads in the sand and making the Catholics do all the hard work as they fight to protect the rights of the unborn and against the goverment attack on our religious freedom.
Brian's brother and his wife flew in from TX.
It is hard for me to keep my hands off of him.
I'm one tired, smart baby. : - )
Afterwards, Brian's parents had us over for a dinner. Lyric was really impressed! : - )
Remi, Lael and Bret. Arden had spent the night with some friends. Now I wished she had come to Andrew's party.
Since, Andrew was dedicated the night before we got home late. Remi was to be Baptized the next. She had made her decision to be Baptized this Sunday even though she had accepted Jesus weeks ago. The kids skipped Sunday school and went to Panera with Mike and me. Mike was going over her baptism "one more time" with Remi.
I didn't get the video camera turned on to capture everything Steve said before he baptised Remi, but he talked about Remi being adopted 2 1/2 years ago and how she was being adopted into the family of God today.

Ephesians 1:1-3
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:
2 Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
The Saints who received the blessing
The Source of our blessing
18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people,
John 1:12 12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,
The Spirituality of the blessing
17 How precious to me are your thoughts,[a] God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand—
when I awake, I am still with you.
The Sufficiency of the blessing.
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
Romans 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
The Sphere of the blessing
2:6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,
Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
