Laine is from Urumqi, China. Urumqi is in the very northwest of China, kind of like if you were in the U.S. and you went up into Alaska. Or at least that is how I see it. : - )
Urumqi is so far away from the rest of China that the Chinese goverment pretty much leaves this area alone. Urumqi has a strong muslim presence which just like here in the US, gives me concern.
