Oops...
Boone: "Mom, we are having Santa shop at school this week. Can I have some money?"
Ugh... I hate Santa shop. You have to give them a dollar for everyone in your family. That's a lot of dollars for us. And, worse, a lot of junk the kid brings home! Tacky Christmas ties, cheap mugs or a random Christmas ornament that doesn't match anything.
Cokie: "I remember I took my own money to buy Mom something from the Santa shop! She threw it in the trash when she thought I wasn't looking!"
Me: "I did not."
