Wuhan here we come. Lael returns to Wuhan, Hubei. This was so exciting for us, but especially for Lael. Lael left Wuhan when she was three years old. She has always wanted to return to see the place she was born.
I don't think I saw one white person on the train to Wuhan or in Wuhan. It was very different than Guangzhou.
This man, and his wife were our hosts. They treated us all like royalty. He picked us up at the train station, put us up in the downtown Ramada, bought us all our meals, then took us where ever our hearts' desire wanted to go. That included, Wuhan University and its nursing school, a trip to Lael's orphanage and he even insisted on finding Lael's abandonment spot. It was amazing how good this guy was to us!! Thanks Ginger for introducing us. : - )))
