We had dinner last night with some people that I love, and here are some of my favorite pictures that were taken. I know I explain our adoption stories a lot, but it is confusing if you're not paying attention. : - ))
Our Remi with Abigail--best friends in China and then God put them 20 minutes apart here in the US. Nothing makes Remi lighten up like getting to see Abigail.
Abigail's Mom, Jan and my sister Becki.
This is one of Abigail's brothers with Remi's cousin Eliot.
Whitney and Brian
Robin with her daughter Hadley.
Bret with Hadley and Hadley's brother Wyatt.
Jennifer and Robin. Jennifer traveled with my sister, Becki. Jennifer adopted Katie and Becki adopted Gabrielle. Jennifer works at Crisis Pregnancy Center--actually, so does Robin, but a different one. Through Jennifer's Center Robin adopted Wyatt (above) and Mike did the legal work for his adoption. Now we all love each other--a lot. : - ))))
Katie on the left and Gabrielle on the right.
I was driving down the road with Gabrielle right before Katie got here and Gabrielle says, "Katie is coming and when Katie comes I get craaaazy." Cokie chimes in, "When Katie comes you get bossy."
Gabrielle and Cokie who are cousins. Are you getting all this?
Arden with one of Jennifer's daughters.
Why does this picture make me laugh?
I often get what I think is a strange question--Do they (my kids) like one another or do they get along? Yes, they get along and yes they like one another, they even love one another.
This one makes me laugh too. Fox News body language expert would say something like they are boldly assertive and forward, pushy and aggressive.
Have you read the book SHANGHAI GIRLS? The two main characters are sisters and are called the beautiful girls. Gabrielle and Katie could be them. Their nannies in China handed them to Jennifer and Becki together.
Katie excited about her little sister's big news.
