It's that time of year again.
So we headed to the track for "Fast Friday." It was pretty cool!
The umbrellas aren't out because it was raining (it wasn't at this point). They are keeping the sun off the drivers while they wait in the pits.
It was the first time I've been in a suite at the track. Several years ago during the race, we sat in the stands directly across from this suite. Guess who we watched the entire race? Not the drivers. President George H.W. Bush was in this suite for the race. It was after he was president. Before the race, he was walking around the track right in the midst of the masses. It must have drove his Secret Service people crazy!
Is that Lubriderm? For the race car drivers maybe?
When we got ready to leave this suite Mike pointed out someone to me. Mike knows who everyone is. I mean he doesn't always "know" them, but he knows who they are when he sees them.
Our timing on leaving was almost perfect. It started raining just before we left. We got a little wet, but we did beat the crowd out.
