Lael: "Don't wear those."
Lael: "Auntie would never wear those."
Me: "Ugh... It is raining out. Even if it weren't raining, I'm not walking all over town in heels.
Auntie
Lael I'm not calling you a butt (in the purplish pants) but if the shoe fits. Get it? Kidding. Lael is about the PERFECT daughter. And the four of us had about a PERFECT weekend. I stayed in the hotel with my sister. Lael stayed with her cousin at her dorm. In between, we all ran around together. Lael was studying going and coming on the drive there. And she came home Monday night happy. She had made an "A" on her exam that day.
Lael: "Now I don't even feel guilty I went with you."
Knoxville, Tennessee is downright charming! I could do with out that "orange" they all wear. Ugh! It was everywhere.
Did you know Knoxville was settled in 1786, and was the first capitol of Tennessee? During the Civil War, the city was bitterly divided over the secession issue, and was occupied alternately by both Confederate and Union armies.
Payton has been away at school for about two months, and my sister has made the six hour drive down to see her twice already. That's not counting Payton driving home once either. LOL We love you Payton.
This gold ball was built for the World's Fair. Our hotel was the building to the right.
