"But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only. For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one left."
Matthew 24:36
Last Sunday we didn't do our usual Panera Bread thing. We partied hard on the 4th, so we were extremely tired and slow the next morning. It wasn't easy dragging our selves out of bed early and making it to church the next morning, but I'm proud to say we "done it!" : - ) And yes, these are the same clothes that Cokie and Lyric wore all day at the park, but I did go home and wash them, so they could wear them again. Otherwise, it would have been just plain gross. : - )
We ran into my pleasingly pretty nieces.
After church I took these pictures of Lael and her BFF (is that what you call it these days?). I scolded Lael for coming into church late. She had fun the day before on her BFF's boat!
Boone thinks Lael's BFF is really pretty. Can't imagine why?!! : - )
I think Boone had Lael's BFF on his brain when he pulled the fortune out of his fortune cookie. He took it very serious. He pulled the fortune out and came straight to tell me and one of my BFF's what it said. Boone excitedly told us, "My cookie says I am going to have a pretty wife." Well my BFF was Lael's 1st grade teacher, and she says to Boone:
"Would you rather have a smart wife or a pretty wife?"
He got a funny look on his face and seemed a little tormented.
He said, "Smart... but, I want both."
God willing, he'll get his wish. : - )
Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.
