My friend just sent me this email: Did you get your bathroom done, or is it still in progress?
So, I took these pictures below and I'll just tell her to just check out my blog.
No, it isn't finished.
Shepard is in hog heaven. He can't get enough of this kind of thing. When Mike slows down, Shepard nonchalantly hints that I should get on him. He makes sure I know it isn't his fault his Dad is so slow. The flooring in the right corner is the new ceramic tile they are putting down.
This is how my bedroom looks right now with the new bathroom cabinet, flooring, faucets, mirrors and lights. Sigh... To the right is my Mom's dark blue dress. My Mom died almost 15 years ago and saved a dress she wore a lot.
And this is how my closet looks while I'm waiting on everything to get done. Along with a ladder stuck right in the middle of the room, I have all Mike's tools thrown everywhere.
Remember when Remi found out she has a biological sister? And, I blogged about it here?

Well, they had fun celebrating 2015 Chinese New Year together.
The girls always enjoy seeing one another.
Remi Adria is on the left.
And on the left here is Abigail with her Dad.
Boone's scribblings in church last Sunday.
I just found this where Boone had laid it on my desk. I thought it was his work and then I saw the B in the corner. : - )
Will winter ever end?
At least it warmed up this weekend long enough for the kids to enjoy the snow.
But now it has gotten bitter cold again. It was -3 this morning.
black' eye', n. 1. discoloration of the skin around the eye, resulting from a blow, bruise, etc. 2. a damaged reputation.
shiner (shi'nər), n. Informal. BLACK EYE.
What Is It? A black eye, sometimes called a "shiner," is a bruise around the eye.
Day 1
When an object strikes the eye, the force of the impact breaks delicate blood vessels in the eyelids and surrounding tissues. Blood collects under the skin, and causes black or blue discoloration in the eyelids and around the eye socket.
Most black eyes happen by accident — during contact sports, at work, in a car crash or during home repair.
Day 2
Men get about four times more eye injuries than women do, and the average patient is approximately 30 years old.
Day 3
The source of the injury is usually a blunt object — a baseball, a hammer, a rock or a piece of lumber — and the most frequent place of injury is the home.
Day 4
At one time, it was also common for eye injuries to occur in motor vehicle accidents, usually when a victim's face struck the dashboard. However, the number of eye injuries caused by car crashes has decreased significantly because of airbags and the mandatory use of seat belts.
Day 5
Boone: "Everyone in the 1st and 2nd grade wanted to see my eye!"
Boone just enjoy the week! You get to walk around with a black eye -- Every real man's dream! And, you're certainly going to be a real man.
Oh and by the way, the reason I'm not afraid to show Boone's shiner is because, thank you Jesus, it didn't happen on my watch. : - ) Boone got his black eye at school in gym class. A little girl hit him with a hockey stick!! So I guess if that gets out, Boone's black eye might also fit Webster's second definition above in that his reputation as well as his eye might suffer some damage.

It stinks when you get in trouble at school and your Mom makes you sit with her in church instead of going to Sunday School. And it stinks even more when your Sunday School is in a brand spanking new Children's Center complete with an indoor play ground. Our new Children's Center has everything -- except Boone, at least last Sunday.
Boone got in trouble for playing Ninja too rough with other boys on recess and had to sit on the sidewalk. Too much pushing and shoving I think.
It wasn't his teacher that he got in trouble with. It was another teacher on recess duty.
Boone's church notes. I noticed he wrote Mom, Dad and baby. So I asked what the baby meant. He said he just wrote it for fun. Hmmm... I had told him to stop acting like a baby at school. And, he said the $3000 meant he wanted that for this picture.
Boone's class won the Golden Shoe Award right after he spent "time" on the sidewalk, but look who has the Golden Shoe Award. The boy seems to always come out smelling like a rose.
So, I say to Arden, "Well he is the cutest kid in class." Arden says I'm biased. Well I'm not! : - ) And this picture proves it!
