Lyric is starting to love her Bible! And she takes it seriously. Especially for a 2nd grader. When Whitney was in 5th grade, she made up her mind that she had to decide for herself whether Christianity was real. She put letters in several of the church staff's boxes and told them she needed to have a meeting. Our pastor met with her and later told me he had met with college kids who didn't ask questions as deep as Whitney asked. After her soul searching, Whitney decided the Bible was true. She soon accepted Jesus after that. Based on the way Lyric is diving in, I can see her going down the same road. She is a deep thinker like Whitney.
