We had Lyric's parent teacher conference the other day. Lyric is and always has been a really good student and this year she is in the enriched math too. The only negative the teacher said was sometimes Lyric is talking a little too loud in class. I thought maybe it was because she wasn't hearing well so I decided to take her to Riley Children's Hospital. It is my home away from home. So, we had her appointment this week and her ears were fine.
Me: "Well, now the teacher is going to know your ears aren't messed up and that isn't why you're talking too loud."
Lyric: "I think it might be my sight and I can tell you why! Our class is really big and I see that. I have to talk really loud because I want everyone to hear me."
