Tuesday night was not a good night for our country. But I am trying to keep what happened in perspective. At different low points in my life, God has reminded me of this passage from Psalm 46:
"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."
I had not thought about that verse Tuesday tonight, and when I went to see what Michelle Malkin www.michellemalkin.com had to say about the election, God once again reminded me of it. The last two parts had special meaning to me. The battle that we may have lost Tuesday is only part of a much larger story, but the good news, as Psalm 46 tells us, is we know the outcome of that story--we win.
We're going to be fine. Not because I say so, but because God will meet our needs.
