The best night of Lyric's life.
Lyric told me to blog about this, because she said it was the best night of her life. Lyric does play basketball, but I don't think that was what got her so excited.
It was the FREE food! There is just something about food being free that makes it taste so much better.
And, it was all junk food! At home when I force her to eat her veggies she literally runs to wash her mouth out!
Shepard has changed a lot since we got him about a year and half ago. He isn't shy and scared any longer. He also is starting to compare (out loud) his life now compared to then. And he likes it. He told me the other day they never took him and his foster sister anywhere and always made them stay home with the foster grandparents when they left the house. His foster sister was adopted soon after he was. Yeah God!
Cokie being the meat eater she is, ate wing after wing and when it was time to go she tried to sneak some out. Her Dad stopped her though. He has a reputation to protect.
Stafan was the only one there for the Pacers game. He plays basketball too and really is impressive, but now the poor boy is obsessed with becoming a pro.

See the Kroger sign? Put your glasses on and try real hard. Under it in the middle of the gym floor you can "kind of" see a man in a dark suit. You'll have to trust me on this, but that is Mike. His company was sponsoring an award given to a little girl who dialed 911 when her mom was having a seizure. Mike was there representing his company. It all lasted about 10 seconds and when he came back up to the suite I was like, "you didn't say anything" and he was like, "nope." Not sure anyone knew he was out there with her, but hey it got us some suite tickets.
