Anyway, Arden is working too much, and going to school. She'll graduate in about a year or less I think.
So, Boone's doing OK... for Boone. He is off TV and computer for a while except for practicing his Chinese, Christian TV and Fox news. LOL
The other day he asked me to take him to the store before school. Sure. No problem. We get to the store, and he pulls out $20. It took me quite a while before I thought the fact Boone had $20 bucks was strange. So, I asked him where it came from. He tells me he won it from a bet at school and it was due to basketball. Hmmmm... He goes on to tell me the boy lives with his Dad. I figured even if I didn't mind the gambling part, which I do, it was wrong. The man needs to know his son is giving away a lot of money. At least to me that is a lot of money. Anyway, no big deal. So, I take Boonie Butt to school and give the $20 to the principal, who happens to be our next door neighbor, and told him how Boonie BUTT received it.
About an hour later, Mr. Neighbor calls. Sigh... Boonie Butt told a big fat lie. He was taking kids' money and buying gum for his friends. Don't ask me why he thought that sounded worse than gambling. And, to top it off, the teacher kept telling Boone to stop chewing gum, but he didn't....
Of course, in Boone's defense, the teacher does allow them to chew gum sometimes. On the other hand, Boone is old enough to do what his teacher says when she says it.
Ugh.
I don't think Pryor has been in trouble all year. Yeah! And, he just made Junior National Honor Society. : - ))))))) It comes pretty easy for him too. He sure doesn't study much to make all As. The picture on the screen is actually him practicing Chinese.
Pryor rushes, I mean rushes, home from school everyday. Does whatever chore I have ready for him and then runs here. Right here. This is the crazy part. He is actually playing and talking to his friends. How do they do that?
Stafan is still Stafan. Perfect. : - )))) Handsome, smart, sweet and being a good Christian. He's on the track team, but recently hurt his hip. Time for the doctor.
Oh Lyric. Smart and funny. Taking advanced classes and kicking butt. I recently chopped off her hair without telling her. She couldn't believe it. The next day though she told me it was easier to take care of. LOL
Cokie is another one that makes As. Her favorite thing to do is talk about basketball though and because of that she hangs out a lot with her brothers.
Remi is another great student and thinking about starting college next Fall. And.... OMGosh she got her first ever detention at school. Everyone's response was pretty much "Remi?!!" She left for lunch with some girlfriends without signing out. Oh well.
Bret is working and going to school for accounting at the IU Kelley School of Business. About every day she is doing something for me. Driving the kids, getting my Frappuccinos etc.... Lael and I argue over who gets Bret. LOL
I guess you can tell what Lael is doing. I heard her talking about me yesterday when she didn't know I could hear her. "Mom thinks I make so much money. I don't!" LOL
Shepard is Mr. Serious. He loves to help his Dad do projects around the house. He and Stafan both played on a basketball team this winter. This week we met with his school counselor. The counselor said not only was Shepard engineer material (that's what he is interested in) but he was Rose Hulman material. Say what?! I didn't know that.
I threw my niece Darby in the mix because she cracked me up today. She told me she dreamed about me. LOL I was two different people. One I was funny, nice and danced for her. Which, I do when no one is looking just to freak her out. LOL The other me was a boring business lady. Hey, that's what she said.
